Welcome to your Profile section — the place where you can make the app truly yours. Within the Profile section, you have various options to personalize and manage your account:
Customize your profile picture and provide more detailed personal information.
Access and customize your Sticker board, where you can use stickers in your interactions.
Check your messages and view your follower list on the web-version and in the app.
Download your shots: short music videos you can create and share.
Review your subscription status (available in the app)
APP
Your Profile is located on the main screen, and you can access it directly from the Explore section, My Tabs section, Courses section, and Songbooks section. You can't access your profile from the Shots section.
In the app, from your main profile screen, you can:

4. Search for your specific username. Here you'll find your username (e.g., YourUsername). Review all your active subscriptions within our service.
Please note that the part after the “@” symbol represents your username. It can’t be changed directly, and you’ll need to contact support for assistance with that.
If you’d like to update your display name instead, you can do so by clicking Edit Profile below.
5. Restore purchases is a feature that allows users to regain access to previously purchased subscription(s) without paying again. You can see how to restore subscription here.

On the web version, you can customize your profile header and upload an image that complies with our service guidelines.
Keep in mind that only properly formatted images (2172 x 560px) are accepted in .png or .jpg file type.
To update your profile picture, hover over your avatar and tap on the “Camera” icon.
Select a picture on your device and upload your new image. Hit “Save” to apply the change.
To start setting up your profile, you can click on the "Edit Profile" button.
Within the web interface, you have the option to update your display name and add a profile bio, which will appear beneath your account name on the page. Please remember to click the yellow “Save” button to ensure your changes are applied.
Unfortunately, changing your name isn't easy. How to change your username.
At the top of the Profile section, you'll find your username (e.g., YourUsername) and your profile picture.
To proceed with updating your profile in the web version, click the “Pencil” icon located beneath your avatar. From there, you can:
Add your date of birth.
Enter your city.
Select your country.
Share your favorite bands, guitarists, bassists, as well as your preferred books and movies.
Please remember to click the yellow “Save” button to ensure your changes are applied.
Make sure to throw your Gear into the panel on the left. Hit the “Plus” button and lay down the deets: model, maker, type and even drop a killer pic of your gear. It’s optional.

Contributions.
Contributing to Ultimate Guitar involves submitting user-created guitar tabs, chords, and lyrics, which undergo a manual review process for accuracy before publication. Users can contribute via the website or app, with submissions generally approved within 48 hours if they meet formatting guidelines.
You can also view your Rank on the dashboard. To increase it, contribute more by uploading tablatures and making additional contributions to the platform.
Followers.
Here you can see everyone who follows you.
Followings.
Here you can see everyone you follow.
Shots
Shots are an online version of an open mic. It is a great opportunity to perform your favorite song to millions of music fans around the globe.
Comments.
In this section you can leave a comment on your profile. This field is also available for interaction with other users, you can leave comments on other users’ profiles, and they can do the same on yours.
