What if you’ll log in with the wrong account?
If you’ve purchased a subscription, but it isn’t recognized in the app, please ensure you’re logged into your Pro account. It’s possible you’re currently using a different free account or not logged in at all.
How can I reactivate a previous subscription?
If you purchased a subscription in our iOS app and later canceled it, you can reactivate it by going to Settings → Restore Purchase.
Important: Make sure you’re logged into your account before restoring. Otherwise, the subscription will be tied to the device you’re restoring on and won’t be accessible across multiple devices.
Cross-platform subscription
If you purchase a subscription while logged out, it will be tied to your device rather than an account.
To link it to an account manually:
Go to Settings.
Tap Sign Up to create a new account.
Return to Settings.
Tap Restore Purchases.
Using Restore Purchases in Settings will connect your iOS subscription to your new account, making it accessible across devices.
I had a Lifetime Pro subscription, how can I restore it?
If you purchased a Lifetime Pro subscription before February 2017 and cannot restore it:
Locate your purchase receipt from the App Store, Google Play, or your email
Send the receipt to [email protected] along with your account email and device details.
Ultimate Guitar Support can manually verify your purchase and restore access to your account.
Note that subscriptions purchased before February 2017 may not be automatically linked to an account, making manual verification necessary.
