Edit tab, personal changes, personal edits, correct tab
In order to turn a public UG tab into your Personal one, take these steps:
Click on Edit button
Choose Make personal edits
You're in editing mode now.
Edit/personalize the tab.
Click on the black 'Save as personal' button.
You can view your Personal tab in the My Tabs section.
It will be marked with the human icon next to the song.

Note: if you don't have an Ultimate Guitar account, it's worth registering one before you start creating the tab. This way, you will not lose your Personal tabs.
Important: when you save a tab with Personal Edits, the original YouTube video for that song (as shown in the image) will no longer be displayed for that tab version.
However, if you exit the saved personal tab and open the official version again, you’ll be able to access and play the attached videos as usual.
