Currently, it is not possible to change your username directly from your account settings. To change your username, please follow these steps:
Create a new Ultimate Guitar account using the “Sign Up with Email” option;
Contact us at [email protected], providing the usernames and email addresses for both your old and new account;
For security verification, we need confirmation that you are the original owner of the old account. If you have a subscription (active or cancelled) or purchases under the original account, please provide your receipt(s) or contact us from the email address linked to your old account;
Once verified, we will transfer your subscription, favorites, and contributed tabs to your new account and delete the old account.
Please Note:
Playlists, posts, comments, shots, etc. cannot be transferred to the new account.
We appreciate your feedback and understand the need to change usernames. We are actively working on making this feature available directly from account settings in the future.
