I lost my subscription. How can I find it?

What to do if you lost your Ultimate Guitar subscription

If you previously purchased a subscription but can no longer access it and cannot restore it using the app, follow these steps to recover access.

Verify purchase details

  • Check your purchase receipt from the App Store, Google Play, or your email to confirm the subscription was successfully processed

  • Make sure you are trying to access the subscription you actually paid for. For example, if you purchased a Songbooks subscription, you will not have access to official tabs, which are part of the Pro subscription

  • You can read more information about Ultimate Guitar subscriptions here.

  • If you have multiple accounts, verify which account received the purchase confirmation, as subscriptions may remain linked to the account used for purchase.

One-Device Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions purchased in the iOS or Android app while logged out or without an account may be attached to the device only

  • If Restore Purchase does not work, log in with the account originally associated with the purchase, or check the device that was used for the subscription

  • Note that device-only subscriptions cannot be restored on another device or on the website unless linked to an Ultimate Guitar account.

Lost Lifetime subscription

If you purchased a Lifetime Pro subscription before February 2017 and cannot restore it:

  • Locate your purchase receipt from the App Store, Google Play, or your email

  • Send the receipt to [email protected] along with your account email and device details.

Ultimate Guitar Support can manually verify your purchase and restore access to your account.

Note that subscriptions purchased before February 2017 may not be automatically linked to an account, making manual verification necessary.
